Getting started

Alakazam helps you make your photos look better without needing to know editing jargon. You tell it what you want, like "make it warmer" or "smooth the skin", and it does the work.

Open a photo

Open Alakazam, pick a photo from your phone, and it opens in the editor.

  • Zoom in by pinching, and move around by dragging, to check the small details.
  • Changes show on the photo as you move a slider, so you can stop when it looks right.

Around the app

Three tabs along the bottom of the home screen take you around the app. They're hidden while you edit a photo, because the editor takes over the whole screen. Close the editor to see them again.

  • Home: your projects, and the way to add photos. See Projects.
  • Settings: light or dark, and the file you get when you share. See Settings.
  • Storage: the smart models stored on your phone. See Smart features.
